The Ginny Shubert Center for Harm Reduction is the location for both our 37th Street Health Center (4th Floor) and the Positive Health Project.

37th Street Health Center (4th Floor):

Housing Works Community Health Care now offers services at West 37th Street. This extension of our growing FQHC network offers primary care, substance use treatment, wound care, STI treatment, PEP and PrEP, medication management, HEP C testing and treatment, gender affirming care and more!

Offering Primary Care, Sexual Health, Behavioral Health and Substance Use services, as well as Case Management Services.

Positive Health Project (3rd Floor):

Positive Health Project provides a range of services for individuals with substance use disorders. These services include syringe exchange, health education, overdose prevention counseling and dispensation, case management, mental health counseling, HIV & HCV rapid testing, HCV and MAT health education and care coordination, shower services, and a drop-in space. PHP offers a safe and welcoming environment that serves all without judgement. No insurance required.

PHP is also the home for the ReCharge Program – a Methamphetamine harm reduction program offering virtual and face-to-face case management, counseling, PrEP and PEP care coordination, and benefits navigation services for individuals with current or recent history of Crystal Meth use. Services also include drop-in groups and medical care coordination.
