About Housing Works
Housing Works is a healing community of people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. Our mission is to end the dual crises of homelessness and AIDS through relentless advocacy, the provision of lifesaving services, and entrepreneurial businesses that sustain our efforts.
Healthcare Mission
Housing Works Community Healthcare fosters good health and positive social change through empowerment, innovation, and collaboration. We provide high-quality integrated medical care and a client-centered approach to substance use support which is grounded in harm reduction. These essential services are all designed to help individuals and to improve community well-being.
Housing Works’ engine is fueled by the collaborative spirit of our community. Together, we can help our neighbors achieve good health through accessible, affordable healthcare and health services, regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, or diagnosis.

We consistently uplift those on the margins through our team of skilled and compassionate providers committed to this community’s health and well-being.
We currently serve nearly 20,000 clients throughout New York City each year with healthcare services, housing, job training, and more.
Our political advocacy team works tirelessly in support of local and national policy to promote health equity and social justice.
